On Campus Venues
WHCS has two venues located on our campus for interscholastic athletics. Both are named after close members of our school family that have left this earth too early and are currently with the Lord as both trusted Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior. We remember them in honor of 1 Corinthians 12:26 which reads; “There should be no schism in the body, but that the members should have the same care for one another. And if one member suffers, all the members suffer with it; or if one member is honored, all the members rejoice with it.” (NKJV)
Christopher Whitehead Memorial Soccer Field
Dedicated on September 6, 2012, the Christopher Whitehead Memorial Soccer Field was named in honor of a student who attended WHCS. The Whitehead family has worked and volunteered at WHCS for many years.
Kenneth “Fat Cat” Beach Memorial Archery Range
Dedicated in 2014, the Kenneth Beach Memorial Archery Range was named after a friend of the school and family member of the Branch Family. The Branch Family has volunteered at WHCS for many years, and Coach Branch has been a cornerstone of our Archery Program.
Both venues are located on our campus at 1700 Buckeye Loop Road, Winter Haven, FL 33881 – click here for a map and directions.
